and IKEA have announced a recall of IKEA KRITTER and SNIGLAR junior beds. The metal rod that joins the safety rail to the bed can break, and therefore, poses a laceration hazard.

Although no injuries have been reported, two beds have broken in the US and Canada.

These beds have been sold in stores throughout Canada and online at ikea.ca: The KRITTER model from 2008 to May 2013, and SNIGLAR from 2005 to May 2013.

If you have this product: Go to the Returns and Exchanges area of your local IKEA, or call them at 1-800-661-9807, to obtain your free repair kit.
