Baby carrier RECALL: Playtex Hip Hammock

Health Canada has announced the recall of the Playtex Hip Hammock Infant Carrier and urges consumers to stop using it.

Health Canada has announced a recall involving the Playtex Hip Hammock Child Carrier. The buckles at the waist and the shoulder straps aren’t reliable — thereby posing a serious fall hazard.

The affected products have been sold in stores and online throughout Canada from June 2004 to January 2010, and in the United States from June 2004 to December 2008.
