Recall: Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Electric Food and Bottle Warmer

Tommee Tippee has recalled 25,000 food and bottle warmers due to a fire hazard risk.

Mayborn USA Inc. has recalled their food and bottle warmer product because the warmers can overheat and catch fire. The product has model number 1072, a six character batch code starting with a number and ending in 'GY', and UL certification file number E225323. The affected products were sold on their own and as a part of kits containing a number of other, unaffected, products.

Here are the affected products:

Approximately 17,500 affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 7000 were sold in Mexico between December 2013 and April 2016. Mayborn USA Inc. has received one report of an incident related to this product in Canada, resulting in minor injury.

What should you do? If you have this product, stop using it immediately and contact Mayborn USA Inc. to receive a free replacement warmer.
