These easy-to-make frozen popsicle recipes are full of fresh fruit and healthy ingredients!
Put down the Ben & Jerry’s and those neon-colored store-bought pops and get ready for a summer treat that’s both tasty and healthy. These better-for-you popsicles are made with fresh fruit and way less sugar (not that the kiddos will notice) for a guilt-free refresher the whole family will love. Bonus: Each recipe is only 4 ingredients or less! (Note: Each recipe makes 10 individual 3-ounce ice popsicles.)
Photo: iStockphotoFruit + fresh herbs add a gourmet twist.Good stuff:Just one pop provides half your daily dose of vitamin C.Recipe:Simmer 1/3 cup sugar + ¾ cup water in a small saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Add 4-6 thinly sliced basil leaves, simmer 1 minute and set aside. Blend 4 ½ cups hulled strawberries until smooth. Add the sugar mixture and blend until just combined. Pour mixture into popsicle molds, insert stick and freeze until solid.

Pour mixture into popsicle molds, insert stick and freeze until solid.

In a separate bowl, mix together ½ cup half and half cream + u2153 cup maple syrup. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of the cream mixture into each popsicle mold, top with peach mixture and gently mix to create a swirl effect. Insert stick and freeze until solid.
