There's nothing in the whole world sweeter than my daughter's reaction to her Dad. When I'm changing that first morning diaper and she hears him in the other room, her eyes light up as she exclaims "Dada!" and fights to escape my clutches. Or if it's his turn for sleep-in Saturday, but it's time to get him up, I say to Anna conspiratorially, "Let's go wake Daddy up." She drops whatever she's doing and races to the door as fast as her little legs will carry her, whispering "Dada, Dada." Her shriek of excitement when she hears his key in the door at the end of a workday is enough to melt anyone's heart. Especially his.
