It's a boy for Rod Stewart & Penny Lancaster!

Mazel Tov to the legendary singer and his gorj former-model wife Penny Lancaster. They welcomed a boy yesterday, Feb. 16 -- weighing in at 7 pounds 12 ounces.

And the name? Well, we knew this already -- Aiden. Beautiful!

Their rep confirmed with People Magazine that "Mother and baby are healthy and blissfully happy."

And what a perfect early birthday gift for Penny, who turns 40 in March.

Aiden is 66-year-old Rod's 8th child, his second with Penny. Their older son Alastair Wallace is 5 years old.

Congrats to the family!
