A homemade snowball perfect for a table decoration

Cathie Kryczka

user rating:

A homemade snowball? If you and your child make four or five, you’ll have an elegant table decoration for a holiday meal.

You’ll need:
white glue
little torn pieces of tissue paper (we used blue and silver)
sparkles and orange- or grapefruit-sized styrofoam balls from a craft department.
(And a soapy washcloth nearby.)

Put a dab of glue in a piece of tissue and stick it on the ball; continue until it’s covered. Don’t worry if the edges of the tissue stick up a bit — it will just look like a real snowball, rough and icy. While it’s still wet, sprinkle on some white or silver sparkles, and let the snowball dry.
