With sharp scissors (adults only) cut a large plastic pop bottle into 5 cm (2 in.) squares or rectangles approximately 4 cm (1½ in) by 6 cm (2½ in.) With permanent magic markers or coloured overhead transparency markers (from an office supply store), draw designs on either side of the plastic. Place the plastic pieces on a cookie sheet covered with tinfoil or parchment paper. Bake at 90ºC (200ºF) for 5 to 10 minutes, or until the shapes have curled into tubes. Cool on the cookie sheet. String your beads onto some yarn and wear them as a necklace or drape them on your tree.
