Take one inexpensive pair of flip-flops, add flowers, buttons, beads or other colourful trims, and you’ve got great-looking, personalized footwear. Young kids can choose trims and arrange them on the flip-flops, but an adult needs to use the hot glue gun. Ages 4+ |

You'll Need: a pair of flip-flops; a toilet-paper roll; a hot glue gun; assorted trims. |

Make sure the flip-flops are clean and dry. Tuck a toilet-paper roll under the straps of one of the flip-flops. This will hold up the straps so it’s easier to glue on trims. |

Play around with your trims and decide how you will arrange them on the straps. Glue them in place. |

Decorate the other flip-flop. Note: Depending on the types of trims you’re using, the flip-flops may not be waterproof.
