Ever since Playing for Keeps star Uma Thurman, 42, and her boyfriend, Arpad Busson, released the name of their now-six-month-old daughter, Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence, there's been a bit of a running joke about it — so many names for one wee baby!
Finally, Uma has come out with one reason for all the names, thanks to her 14-year-old daughter, Maya.
“[Maya] came up with the best excuse," Uma said on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Monday night, "that I probably wouldn’t get to have any more children, so I just put every name that I liked into [the baby's name]."
Hmm, we'll take that!
"The last part makes sense, right?" she joked, referring to the baby's surname!
Oh well. She's no help, is she? I guess we'll never know!
In the end, Uma said, “We couldn’t quite agree on the name. We call her 'Luna,' so she’s lucky that way.”
So, we didn't learn much about Uma's baby's name today, but we have learned lots about other celeb-baby-name meanings and origins — check it out HERE! And, Uma's got a lot of company in the pregnant-over-40 category — check it out HERE!
Love!
