It's a boy for American Idol winner Kris Allen
Singer/American Idol winner Kris Allen welcomes a baby boy.

I totally voted for him over Adam Lambert for the American Idol win... *Ducks and runs.*
OK, so he's a dad now! Kris, 28, and his wife, Katy, welcomed their first child. It's a boy! And the name is... Oliver Neil Allen.
Kris shared the news on Twitter. "Happy day!!!!" he tweeted. "My little stud was born today. Oliver is here people."
If you recall, Kris first announced the news after he and his then pregnant wife were in a car accident -- leaving his wrist severely injured. Luckily, the injury won't affect his music. “I will be fine,” he writes on his official website. “After everything is healed I will be able to play guitar. I will be able to play piano. I will be able to throw a baseball with my kid. I will be able to do the things that I love to do. Just not a proper push-up.”
