Official: Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are getting a divorce.

HOLY!
I almost can't believe this. Partly because it's the Friday before the Canada Day long weekend, and NOTHING is going on. And partly because it feels like they've been together for so long, I wasn't prepared for this!
Anyway, alas! After five years of marriage, Katie Holmes, 33, and Tom Cruise, 49, are getting a divorce.
"This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family," Katie's attorney, Jonathan Wolfe, told People Magazine. "Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."
Tom and Katie got married in an Italian castle back in November 2006. They, of course, have a beautiful daughter together, Suri, 6.
This was Katie's first marriage, and Tom's third. He was also married to Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers.
Oh, sad. Surprising, as I said, because it's so quiet today. But, then again, maybe not so surprising.
