Looks like there's a normal life in sight for Suri. A date with Grandma?! And fun with farm animals, like an ordinary kid.

Ack! What a crazy day this has turned out to be. I just got back to my desk to say a quick hello to you Gorgeouses — and now I have to leave again to pick up the kidlets from camp. PLUS, in the middle of everything, I royally messed up a playdate situation this aft. Gahhh! How do you keep up with all your kids' playdates and birthday parties?!? Sighh.

Recently divorced Katie Holmes, 33, and her mom, Kathleen, took Suri Cruise, 6, to the Central Park Zoo in New York City, yesterday.
When's the last time you saw a photo of Katie, Suri and Grandma? Looks like it's going to be a whole new life for Suri — a potentially normal one, which includes more time with Katie's family (and less with Tom's Scientology family), now that Katie has primary legal custody.
The trio strolled through the park, and sweet Suri enjoyed feeding the animals....
So SWEET. Poor kid has so much happening around her.... But from the looks of it, she's in very nurturing hands.

Maybe the divorce has opened a whole new chapter in Suri's life - after all, this is one of the only pictures of her where she's standing on her own two feet and not being carried around like a baby! Time for at least a closer-to-normal life for her.
