Today’s Parent freelance writer Dave Briggs is a passionate, exhausted father and below-average bass guitar player. He flirted with preppiness in high school before being saved by the all-mighty powers of Rock ‘N Roll, Barry Sanders, Bill Murray and Mitch Albom. Today, Briggs holds an MA in Journalism from UWO and ten national and international writing awards as editor of The Canadian Sportsman. He lives in Port Stanley, Ont. with his wife, Laura, and their three children.
